2010 has been an unprecedented high for 20-year-old Caroline. Already at the season’s set-off, she advanced to the fourth round of the Australian Open and proceeded to the finals of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells. After the great run in Indian Wells, she defended her title on the green clay of Ponte Vedra, claiming her 7th career title. Following her qualification to the quarter final in China Open, Caroline Wozniacki moved to the top of the women’s WTA world rang list in October 2010 and expressed extreme happiness and pride in her new status.

2011 is more than likely to offer new challenges for Caroline. Former no 1 on the WTA list, Venus Williams, is recovering from a long-term injury and is eager to take on her fiercest competitor!
